The 2025 Scholarship recipients were previously selected and recognized at the 2025 Dallas LGBT+ Bar Visibility Gala. The application period for calendar year 2026 recipients has not yet begun. Applications will open in early summer.

The Dallas LGBT+ Bar Association is proud to offer a scholarship program for Dallas area law students (rising 1L, 2L, or 3L) who are passionate about supporting the Dallas LGBT Bar Association's mission to promote awareness in our commuinity for issues pertinent to the lives of Gender and Secual Minority ("GSM") citizens, lawyers, legal professionals, and law students, who celebrate the diversity and culture of GMSs, and advocate for inclusion and equality of all persons regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

In addition to verifying an applicant's service supporting the GSM community, the selection committee will consider an applicant's competency, character, law school, and community involvement, in addition to financial need, personal statements, and participation in community service activities. Applicants are required to submit (i) the application below, and (ii) a one-page resume.

Applications must be received by October 31, 2025. Selected applicants will be awarded up to $1,000.
